Designed by Reuben Bolieu, this knife is a perfect blend of simplicity, functionality, and ruggedness. The 1095 steel blade with its scandi grind is incredibly sharp and makes woodworking tasks a breeze. The scandi grind is ideal for carving and other bushcraft activities, and the knife holds its edge remarkably well. The micarta handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, even in wet conditions, and the ergonomics are spot-on. i have lots of Eese knives but not the scandi grind blade. excellent quality and dimensions and there 1095 steel is as good as it gets. sheath is a good snug fit. very happy with this purchase.

The knife feels amazing and very robust. I use olive oil to prevent rust and so far it has no rust at all. I use the knife for bushcraft and camping and i own it for 2 years. The only problem i had is that the first time i used it to craft tent pegs the blade chiped, but you can fix that with some sharpening.
