The **Knafs Lulu** is a fixed knife designed in Utah and manufactured in the state of Michigan. This knife marks a milestone for Knafs, as it is their very first knife made entirely in the United States. And when we say 'made entirely in the USA', we mean even the smallest details, right down to the sticker in the box! This pocket knife is named after a mountain pass in southern Montana. 

## Knafs Lulu Stonewashed Finish
This is the updated version of the Lulu! Knafs has changed the finish of the blade for better consistency. Instead of the Raw finish on the previous model, they have now switched to a stonewashed finish. 

## CPM MagnaCut steel blade

We know that this knife did not disappoint when Ben tested it in the Colombian rainforest. This is mainly thanks to the steel used: the blade of this bushcraft knife with scandi grind is made of CPM Magnacut steel. This steel type is famous for its superior properties. It offers an excellent level of hardness and incredible sharpness retention. In short: MagnaCut steel makes for a durable and sharp edge. It's the perfect steel type for demanding tasks. The blade has a ‘stonewashed’ finish. Traces of use will be practically invisible!

## Green canvas micarta handle

Micarta is an incredibly strong material that feels great in hand and is also pleasantly light-weight. This is a composite material made from canvas and synthetic resin. At first glance the micarta might look a little pale, but after using it, the oils in your hands will make sure the micarta will become darker. It takes over the traces of use, making the knife uniquely yours! The handle is nicely rounded to feel great in hand. 

You can even make your own scales for this bushcraft knife! Open-source scales can be downloaded from the Knafs website. 

## About Knafs

The name Knafs might sound a bit strange. But it is basically a different way of saying 'knives'. When you mispronounce the word you often hear 'knifes'. Add a southern accent and 'knifes' soon turns into knafs. Hence the name! You might know Ben Petersen as the designer of the WE Knife Banter and Civivi Baby Banter. And now he also has his own brand. Knafs!

Cela faisait quelques temps que je regardais ce couteau et j'ai franchi le pas. Reçu aujourd'hui 23/6/2025 et la je le trouve superbe de très belles finitions et la prise en main est vraiment fantastique. Tranchant rasoir, il a tout pour plaire, très bon EDC fixe.
Je recommande vivement. 

Wow, einfach wow. Selten so ein stimmiges Messerchen gesehen. Die Verarbeitung ist unwahrscheinlich gut. Liegt perfekt in der Hand, passt wie eingegossen in die Scheide, die noch als nettes Feature eine regulierbare Öffnung hat. Scharf. Für meine Bedürfnisse genau dimensioniert (Handschuhgröße 7). Etwas teuer, aber dank KATO noch mit einem satten Rabatt bekommen. Augen- und Handschmaus :) Noch besser wäre eine aufklappbare Gürtelhalterung IMHO. Aber auch so hat Lulu das Potential zum Lieblings-EDC.

Bon petit couteau fabriqué avec des matériaux de qualité. L’étui est vraiment super bien ajusté le couteau ne bouge pas.

Plus petit que je ne me l'imaginais mais très bonne prise en main toutefois, les plaquettes étant épaisses et bien arrondies. 
Très bonnes finitions, le couteau donne une bonne impression de solidité, comme s'il était fait d'un seul bloc. 
L'étui propose une bonne rétention, même sans utiliser la vis destinée à l'augmenter, le couteau ne produit aucun bruit pendant le transport. A titre personnel je préfère les versions "tacos" que les "pancake", mais il n'est pas si large que cela et le kydex est solide (pas aussi fin que sur certaines productions chinoises).
Ma notation prend en compte du fait qu'il était soldé et que le prix était plus en accord avec le budget qui me semble correspondre à ce style de couteaux. Malgré qu'il soit fabriqué aux US par une marque connue et réputée (White River), le prix de départ me semblait excessif et m'avait découragé.

LE KNAFS Lulu est juste super comme couteau.
Pas trop grand avec une bonne prise en main.
Un plaisir à l’utilisation.
