The LionSteel Opera is a perfect pocket knife to always have with you. The versions made with natural materials make this incredibly practical knife look even more upmarket. The stunning Italian design fits beautifully with the olive wood used in this version. Because appearance is key in this edition, the thumb stud was kept behind because it would otherwise disrupt the line of the blade. Fortunately you can also quickly open the knife with two hands. The D2 steel blade is hard and retains its sharpness for a long time. You can adjust the pivot on the Opera if necessary.  
  


Naturally, the material chosen for the handle is very important for the overall appearance of the knife. But a lot of attention has also been paid to the smaller details. The ridges of the blade subtly move towards the spine of the blade. The opening for a lanyard is nicely added to the back instead of the usual solution of a hole in the knife.  
  


The steel liners have been milled out to save weight. And you can feel the difference when you hold the knife!

Manque juste un "thumb guard"
Leger et efficace en plus d'être une assez jolie pièce.

Appassionato di coltelli da una vita ho rimandato a lungo l'acquisto di questo Lionsteel Opera. Di recente mi sono deciso a comperarlo e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto.  Avevo da poco acquistato in altro negozio un prodotto più costoso e blasonato che purtroppo aveva dei difetti in apertura e chiusura e che ho dovuto rendere.  A questo punto per consolazione ho deciso di prendere l'Opera e sono rimasto stupito dalla qualità costruttiva , dalle finiture e dai materiali utilizzati. In un epoca in cui vari produttori affilano poco le loro lame ho trovato un affilatura buona. 
Consiglio a chi ne desidera uno di approfittare del momento in cui è disponibile, perché ho notato che non viene prodotto con continuità e se si rimanda l'acquisto è possibile che non lo s trovi i in vendita per mesi.  Uno dei motivi per cui non l'avevo mai preso è che quando mi decidevo non era disponibile.

Das ist leider das mit Abstand schlechteste Messer aus der Lionsteel reihe und das schlechteste Messer in meiner Sammlung. Dadurch dass dieses Messer keine Nagelkerbe hat, kann man es in den meisten Situationen nicht mal aufbekommen.

Joli produit, bien assemblé, bien fini. C'est fin, mais ça donne une belle impression de solidité.
