The **Case Peanut** is a traditional pocket knife with the classic Peanut shape. This pattern got its name thanks to the shape of the handle: with a little imagination it looks like a peanut.



You open the Case Knives with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made of Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless steel that is actually the same as 420HC steel. This steel allows for fast sharpening, making it easy to maintain a sharp edge.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Traditional: the Peanut pattern
The Peanut gets its name from its shape; it looks like a peanut! The Peanut is usually a somewhat smaller pocket knife, usually with two blades. Of these, at least one blade is a so-called ‘clip-point’ with a pointed tip.
