The **Mora Eldris LightDuty** is a fixed neck knife. The perfect companion for smaller tasks around the camp, food prep, wood carving or making a one stick fire. A perfect knife to put in your backpack alongside your larger outdoor knife. You can carry it as a neck knife or put it in your jacket pocket.


The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. The handle is made from polymer, with a TPE rubber finish around the core. Very sustainable and offers you enough grip. Because of the large handle you have optimal grip over the blade. Indispensable when you are carving wood.



## Difference between the regular Eldris and the LightDuty


At first glance both appear to be very similar. The blade thickness, dimensions and materials are the same. The differences are subtle. The LightDuty, for instance, is enhanced with a polished blade and the spine of the blade is not as sharp as that of the normal Eldris. The grind is also different: the normal Eldris is enhanced with a compound grind, with a thin tip. The Eldris LightDuty is enhanced with a full scandi-grind.



The *Mora Eldris* is a perfect knife to expand your wood carving skills at night close to the fire, or for food prep. In addition, it is a great knife to have young individuals get acquainted with outdoor knives.

Schönes kleines Messer von Mora.
Besitze bereits das " original " Eldris mit nach vorne hin abgeflachter Klinge.
Dieses steht dem Original aber in keinster Weise nach.
Zu erwähnen wäre das bei der Light Duty Version der Klingen Rücken nicht zum anreißen eines Feuerstahls geeignet ist.
Daher wird es von vielen Nutzern auch als " Indoor " Variante bezeichnet.
Ich mag beide Ausführungen sehr und bin von der Qualität und Robustheit von Mora Messern absolut überzeugt.
Feiner kleiner Begleiter, der aufgrund seiner Größe immer dabei sein kann.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix, la marque Morakniv est clairement une des meilleurs du monde. Je recommande à tous ceux qui aiment les couteaux simple, efficaces, de très bonnes qualités et qui n'ont pas envie de se ruiner.

I use this knife to whittle, it's my first Mora knife. It's very robust for the size and the handle is comfortable. The blade is sharp. It's supposed to be a neck knife but I personally find it too bulky for that. Price is ok. I love how cute it is and I am very happy with my purchase. 

Simple, effective tool. Use it for fishing trips. Bait knife.
