The Ruike Jager F118 is a solid fixed knife, designed for hunting purposes. Striking are the excellent ergonomics and the wonderful price-quality ratio. Although the name immediately reminds you of hunting, you can also use this knife for survival purposes and other tasks. The blade has a large ‘belly’. No, not obesity, but a beautiful rounded part added to the blade. Ideal for gutting game. The back of the blade has been enhanced with a stunning swedge which helps saves weight and makes the knife look even better.

overall the knife is great out of the box. sharp, handle shape great, weight balance great. good steel, and simply a good knife for the price. Now. The knife i received was rushed by the sharpener it would seem. the tip is WAY off, with 1 bevel being A LOT bigger than the other. this is only at the tip. but its very noticeable on this knife, considering the spine is thick. For me personally this isn't a big issue, i was going to sharpen it anyways. And i don't expect this is a issue on the majority of this model. but it does bring down my expectations abit. The sheath having 9 angle settings for the belt clip is great. I would like to see it in Kydex over plastic tho. Not that i would ever break it, it would simply be a upgrade. Overall, its a great knife for the price. would recommend it, but if i heard/saw the tip being off on other models, i would take the recommendation back.
