Full description
The Viper Trail VT4068BC Satin N690, Bocote Wood is one of the largest fixed-blade knives of Viper's range. The Trail is designed by Jens Ansø. Ansø also designed the Viper Nordlys and the Ranger. This is clearly reflected in the design of the handles, which are almost identical on all three knives. The thing that makes the Trail really stand out is in the blade. It is considerably longer than that of the Nordlys and the Ranger and has a clip-point shape. The blade is slim at the start and becomes more broad towards the tip. This gives you more weight at the tip and makes the knife more suitable for light chopping work in addition to regular cutting tasks. These features make the knife versatile in use. This makes it perfect for hiking. Hence the name ‘Trail’. In such situations, you only want to carry one knife, so you don't have to carry unnecessary gear that hinders you or adds extra weight to your gear.
